PAINTING SILK & WATER

I used to read a lot of Gerald Durrell as a teenager & couldn't get the picture of his descriptions of the shore & waters of Crete (Greek Island where he lived in with his family) out of my mind.
Well, here's a manifestation - handpainted, hand reeled Mulberry/Bombyx silk from what I've always imagined the Waters of Crete to be!
I shall soon be loading these on yarnahoy.etsy.com
